Ready for UAE e-invoicing
The UAE is moving to mandatory e-invoicing on the Peppol model. Accountly invoices are already structured data, and are sent and received through an accredited service provider.
How it works
- 1
Invoice as usual
Create invoices the same way you do today. Every required field is checked as you type.
- 2
Send through your provider
The invoice goes to your customer's provider over the Peppol network, and a copy is reported to the FTA.
- 3
Receive bills the same way
Supplier e-invoices arrive as data, so they become bills without retyping.
Inside E-invoicing
Structured from the start
Every invoice holds its data in fields, not just a PDF, so it can be sent as an e-invoice.
Field checks
TRNs, tax categories and totals are checked before the invoice can be issued.
Accredited providers
Accountly works through an accredited service provider rather than replacing one.
Incoming e-invoices
Supplier e-invoices will arrive as data and become draft bills, once your provider is connected.
Clear status
See whether each invoice is ready to send, sent or waiting on your provider.
Phased go-live
Switch it on when the mandate's phase for your company size begins.
Questions
When do I need e-invoicing?
The UAE is introducing it in phases by company size, starting with the largest businesses. Check the Ministry of Finance timetable for your date.
Do I need my own service provider?
Yes, every business needs an accredited service provider. Accountly connects to it so you don't work in two systems.
Will my invoice layout change?
No. Your customers still get the same invoice. The e-invoice travels alongside it as data.
